The movie opened worldwide this past weekend, and the first reviews are already out. Many of them contain adjectives like 'ponderous', 'talky' and 'plain boring', and one wisecracked "this thriller will keep them sleeping on the edge of their seats".

In contrast, "the truth of the Christian faith is more interesting, richer, more mysterious and beautiful than Dan Brown’s fiction," as Rev. John Wauck (professor of literature at the Holy Cross University, Rome) says.
